Our story
An atelier in the Landes where sails that crossed the open sea become objects for the home.

The meaning of upcycling
Inspired by his Gascon roots and his years in sailing, Nicolas de Chénerilles founded OÈST in 2019. More than a brand, it is a committed atelier where the raw material of offshore sails is transformed into exceptional decorative objects.

Local craft and short supply chain
Based in the Landes, the atelier works closely with local suppliers. Every piece of French wood and every length of rope is chosen for its character, for a fully short-circuit production.

A unique know-how
From technical sewing to woodwork, Nicolas carries out every step of creation himself. This craft process guarantees careful finishes, where elegant design meets the strength of marine materials.

Contemporary and ethical design
The OÈST style is a balance between tradition and modernity. We create colourful, one-of-a-kind pieces that tell a story of sailing while protecting the wonders of our ocean.
